The primary host range of this pathogen includes the genus Bletilla and several other closely related orchid species. The infection manifests itself mainly on the foliage and pseudobulbs. Once the pathogen colonizes the plant, it disrupts the photosynthetic capacity and compromises the overall vigor of the host plant.
