The host range of Curvularia ravenelii includes various important cereals such as sorghum, millet, maize, and diverse turf grass species. Furthermore, sanitation of the fields by deep plowing under the crop residues helps reduce the primary inoculum load for the subsequent seasons, minimizing the risk of outbreaks.
