Cycloschizon brachylaenae is a pathogenic fungus known to cause specific leaf spot diseases on plants, primarily within the Brachylaena genus. As a parasitic organism, it feeds on the nutrient-rich leaf tissue of its host, leading to visible damage and impairment of the plant's photosynthetic capacity over time.

The fungus is primarily identified by the host-specific association with plants found in southern and eastern Africa. While it typically affects woody shrubs and trees, the impact can be significant in dense stands, where the pathogen can spread rapidly from one individual to another, causing cumulative stress to the forest or garden ecosystem.
