Didymosporina is a fungal plant disease caused by pathogens belonging to the genus Didymosporina. These fungi act as parasites, affecting the vital functions of host plants by colonizing their leaves and shoots. The host range of this disease primarily includes various woody plants and shrubs, often appearing in both nursery and orchard settings. Vulnerable plants are typically those experiencing environmental stress, which compromises their natural resistance to pathogens. Regular applications of protective fungicides are recommended during high-risk periods. Additionally, improving cultural practices, such as proper spacing for air circulation, significantly limits the spread of the fungus.
