This pathogen primarily affects a wide range of woody species, as well as vegetables and ornamental plants. It is most frequently found in areas where other fungal infections, such as powdery mildew, are present. By colonizing the existing mycelium, Gonatobotryum creates a complex infection scenario that is often difficult to eradicate using standard single-target treatments.
