The family Inocybaceae is not a pathogen for agricultural crops; rather, it consists of ectomycorrhizal fungi that play a crucial role in forest ecosystems. These organisms are often misidentified as plant diseases because they physically attach to root systems. Inocybaceae typically associate with woody plants, including pine, spruce, birch, and oak trees.
