Linospora leaf spot is a fungal disease caused by the pathogen Linospora gleditschiae. This organism specifically targets foliage of Gleditsia species, commonly known as honey locust trees. The symptoms primarily manifest as spots on the leaf blades, which can vary from small irregular dots to larger necrotic areas. As the disease advances, these spots may coalesce, eventually causing the entire leaf to wither and turn brown.
