The primary clinical signs of this disease are the development of necrotic spots on the leaves. These lesions typically appear as tan or brown spots with defined darker margins. As the infection progresses, the centers of these spots develop minute, dark, speckle-like structures known as pycnidia. These serve as the reproductive units of the fungus, releasing spores that can easily spread to adjacent healthy foliage.
