The host range of this pathogen is broad, affecting both herbaceous crops and woody ornamentals. By attacking the root system, it systematically impairs the plant's vascular integrity, which disrupts the uptake of essential nutrients and moisture, eventually leading to stunted growth or total plant collapse.
Symptoms typically manifest as chlorosis, wilting during peak sunshine hours, and necrotic lesions at the base of the stem.
