The primary symptoms include the formation of irregular or circular spots on leaves, which typically begin as dark brown or reddish lesions. Over time, the centers of these spots turn gray or tan, often surrounded by a chlorotic halo. The appearance of dark, pinpoint-sized structures, known as pycnidia, within the necrotic tissue is a definitive sign of the infection.
