The primary host for this pathogen is St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum). The fungus infects the leaves and stems, disrupting normal physiological processes such as photosynthesis and transpiration. The disease is characterized by the formation of small, brown or reddish-brown lesions on the foliage.
