The organism functions as an opportunistic biological agent. It primarily feeds on beneficial bacteria surrounding the plant roots, which can indirectly lead to nutrient deficiencies and stunted growth in various hydroponic crops. Its ability to thrive in high-density aquatic environments makes it a notable factor in professional greenhouse management.
