GOLDEN ROUZHINA

The Golden Rouzhina apple variety is an autumn variety with high commercial and taste qualities, distinguished by its compact size and decorative appeal. The tree reaches a height of up to 2.7 meters, has a well-developed rounded crown and strong shoots, ensuring high productivity and resilience. Seedlings are grafted on the dwarf M9 rootstock, which promotes early fruiting by the second year and high yield. Leaves are dark green with a slight glossy texture, adding additional decorative value to the plant and making it an excellent choice for landscaping.

The fruits of the Golden Rouzhina variety are medium to large in size, weighing from 160 to 200 grams, with an oblong-conical or slightly flattened shape. The skin is smooth, of medium thickness, golden-green in color with a rusty tint, which gave the variety its name. The flesh is yellowish-cream, fine-grained, dense, very juicy and aromatic with a delicate sweet-sour taste. The fruits do not form a rusty network, have high transportability, and can be stored in a refrigerator for up to 4.5-5 months, making them suitable for industrial cultivation and marketing.

The variety is characterized by high frost resistance and medium resistance to diseases, ensuring reliable growth in various climatic conditions. Blooming is late, and the harvest is collected in the third decade of September. For pollination, it is recommended to use varieties such as Idared, Elstar, Gloster, and other compatible apple varieties. Thanks to their unique taste qualities, decorativeness, and versatility in application, Golden Rouzhina fruits are suitable both for fresh consumption and various culinary purposes, making this variety in demand among gardeners and professional producers.
