PRIURALIYSKOE

The apple variety 'Priuraliyskoe' was bred by Soviet breeder L.A. Kotov at the Sverdlovsk Experimental Station for Fruit and Vegetable Growing in the 1990s by crossing the varieties Progress and Persianka. This variety belongs to the early-winter group and is characterized by high yield and universal application. The tree is of medium height, reaching 3-4 meters, with a dense crown that has a widely pyramidal or oval shape. Leaves are elliptical, green, and wrinkled. Blooming begins in mid-May, and fruits ripen by the end of September. Fruits of the Priuraliyskoe variety are large, weighing from 130 to 180 grams, round, slightly flattened in shape with a smooth, dense skin covered with a small waxy bloom. The color of the apples is light green with a red-raspberry blush. The flesh is white with a creamy tint, crisp, juicy, and finely grained, possessing a pleasant fruity aroma. The taste is sour-sweet, dessert-like with a slight spiciness. Sugar content is about 8.12%, and acidity is 0.20%, which ensures a harmonious fruit taste. The variety is characterized by high frost resistance and is able to withstand temperatures down to minus 35-40 degrees, which allows growing it in most regions of the country, except for the far north. Priuraliyskoe apple is also characterized by resistance to scab and codling moth, as well as rare infestation by other pests and diseases. Thanks to these qualities and good drought resistance, the variety is popular among gardeners who value reliability and high fruit quality.
