WEISSE GLORIA

Astilbe Weisse Gloria – a perennial plant with creamy-white or pure white inflorescences that form long, fluffy "ears". Flowers appear in June and last until September, while the bushes reach a height of 60–70 cm and a width of about 50 cm. The foliage starts light green in early spring, gradually turning into a rich dark green shade, creating an emerald backdrop for the large inflorescences.

The plant is characterized by high endurance and resistance to pests and diseases. The leaves have finely serrated edges, which enhances the decorative value. Weisse Gloria is a nectar plant that attracts beneficial insects and butterflies, so it is often used as a central element in landscape compositions, especially near ponds, streams, or in containers on balconies and terraces.

For growing Weisse Gloria, fertile, moist soils with moderate acidity (slightly acidic) and rich in humus are preferred. The plant grows best in partial shade or shade but can tolerate direct sun with sufficient watering. The distance between bushes should be about 30–40 cm to ensure good air circulation and root system development. Thanks to simple care and undemanding nature, this plant is suitable for both gardens and pot compositions on open areas.
