Description
KUCEP is a type of winter barley (Hordeum vulgare L.), characterized by medium maturity and a multi-row grain structure. It is intended primarily for feed and fodder purposes, making it in demand in agriculture for ensuring quality feed. Over the years of research, the variety has shown high resistance to diseases such as powdery scab and powdery mildew, which significantly increases its reliability and crop stability.
The average yield of the KUCEP variety in the North Caucasus region reaches 60.0 centners per hectare, and according to test data at the Pri-Kumskaya experimental station, the variety showed a yield of up to 62.5 centners per hectare on clean fallow.
