Basil cultivation is possible by seedling method or direct sowing in open ground. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in late March - early April, and transplanting seedlings into the ground - in early June. When sowing directly in open ground, the optimal time is May or early June, observing a planting scheme of 30x30 cm. Such an approach ensures healthy plant development and abundant formation of aromatic foliage.
