Description
Imperial Harvest is a mid-early variety of beans with a high productivity level. The time from sowing to maturity is 72–90 days, which allows for planning harvesting in the optimal period. The plant is upright and reaches a height of about 90 cm, while requiring support for stability.
The beans of this variety are fleshy, very long – up to 35 cm, wide, and with a record number of large seeds (8 pieces in each pod). Such size ensures a rich taste and pleasant texture. Uniform maturation allows harvesting without loss of quality, and excellent taste properties make the beans suitable for both fresh consumption and subsequent processing.
Imperial Harvest prefers moist, peat-boggy and heavy clay soils. Sowing is carried out in open ground at the end of April – beginning of May at a depth of 5 cm. The recommended sowing scheme is 20×60 cm between plants, which ensures sufficient space for root system development and optimal fruit growth. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is suitable for both home growing and small commercial plantations.
