Amtrak F1

Amtrak F1 cabbage is a late-maturing, high-yielding hybrid developed by specialists of the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. The vegetation period is approximately 135-142 days, making this variety suitable for long-term storage and fresh consumption. The plant is resilient to weather conditions and adapts well to various regions, including arid areas, due to its resistance to water deficiency and high temperatures.

Cabbage heads have a round-oval shape, light green color, and weigh between 3 to 5 kg. They feature a dense, uniform structure, ensuring good storability without color or flavor changes during storage for up to 2-3 months. The cabbage retains its market appearance and taste even after prolonged storage and transportation. The plant is resistant to fusarium, blossom end rot, and thrips, enhancing its reliability and reducing harvest loss risks.

Amtrak F1 is recommended for cultivation both as seedlings and direct sowing into open ground, with an optimal planting density of 30-40 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid prefers fertile, well-watered soils but maintains high yields both in greenhouse and open ground conditions. The cabbage is versatile in application: suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and shredding, while preserving excellent taste and texture.
