Description
Dachnitsa is well adapted to various climatic conditions, is resistant to temperature fluctuations, cold and heat, which allows growing it both in open ground and under film coverings. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to place plants on sunny areas with fertile and moist soil. Seeds are sown either by direct sowing in open ground in early May, or through seedlings, which are transplanted 35-40 days after seedlings appear. It is important to observe the planting scheme of 60x30 cm and avoid soil drying out.
To maintain plant health and increase yield, regular watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilization are necessary, especially with nitrogen-potash fertilizers and microelements such as molybdenum and boron, which prevent leaf deformation and head rot. After head formation, it is recommended to shade them by tying 2-3 leaves above the inflorescence, which helps maintain the quality of the harvest. The Dachnitsa variety is suitable for long-term storage in the refrigerator and freezing, which makes it convenient for long-term use.
