DEPURPLE

Purple cabbage DEPURPLE F1 — an early hybrid of purple color, developed by specialists of Syngenta (Netherlands) and produced in Switzerland. The maturation period is 65–70 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing harvest at the end of summer — beginning of autumn. The plant forms a strong, compact rosette of leaves that effectively protects the head from sunburn and adverse weather conditions. The hybrid is characterized by high heat resistance, disease resistance, good adaptation to various climatic conditions, and ability to withstand temperature fluctuations.

The heads are round, dense, with a rich purple hue, average weight of 2–3 kg. The flesh is juicy and tender, with a mild nutty flavor, which adds elegance to dishes made from it. Thanks to its rich color, DEPURPLE cabbage contains higher levels of anthocyanins and antioxidants, making it not only delicious but also beneficial. The heads retain their vibrant color even after blanching, which is especially important for culinary processing and presentation of dishes.

This hybrid is suitable for fresh consumption, boiling, roasting, and high-end cuisine.
