Description
Eder F1 cabbage is famous for its juicy, tender, and sweet stem fruits with excellent taste qualities. The flesh contains a significant amount of potassium, assimilable calcium, glucose, fructose, and vitamins, making this variety a useful and nutritious product. To obtain the best quality of fruits, it is recommended to cut them before the fibers start to coarsen, to preserve juiciness and tenderness. The hybrid responds well to soil fertility and fertilizers, which contributes to high yield.
Eder F1 does not require exclusively highly fertile soils and excellently utilizes the residual effect of fertilizers after growing such crops as potatoes, root crops, onions, or cucumbers. Kohlrabi of this variety can be stored for a long time at a temperature of about 0 °C and high humidity, which allows preserving vitamins and fruit freshness during the winter period. Thanks to its characteristics, this hybrid is suitable for various uses in cooking, for example, it can be added to soups instead of potatoes.
