Expectation

EXPECTATION is a high-yielding late hybrid of cabbage intended for very long-term storage. The maturation period is about 140 days, which allows obtaining heads weighing 3-4 kg. They have a round shape, are compact and very dense, with a powerful waxy coating that provides additional protection from pests such as thrips, as well as from various diseases.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to Fusarium (Fusarium oxysporum) and can withstand moisture deficit, making it a reliable choice for growing in difficult conditions. Thanks to its dense structure and quality internal texture, the heads are perfectly preserved for a long period, until June, without loss of marketable qualities. This allows using the cabbage for long-term storage and marketing at late stages.

EXPECTATION is well-suited for growing on clay soils and is optimal for mechanized harvesting, including pneumatic cleaning and combine harvesting.
