FREILINA

FREILINA is an early-maturing hybrid of white cabbage, distinguished by its high marketability and excellent taste qualities. The period from seedling planting to the beginning of harvest is 65-70 days, which allows for obtaining a fresh product in a short time. The head has an oval shape, partially covered with leaves, white in cross-section, dense, and possesses an excellent internal structure. The head mass varies from 1.6 to 1.8 kg, while the inner core is short, 5-6 cm long, which makes the cabbage convenient for processing and use.

The leaves of the hybrid are of medium size, widely elliptical in shape, green in color with a slight waxy coating, smooth and even along the edge. Such a leaf structure contributes to good preservation and an attractive appearance of the product. The density of the head is rated at 4 points, which indicates its strength and resistance to damage. The taste of the cabbage is good, which makes it ideal for fresh consumption.

The FREILINA hybrid is characterized by high yield - the commercial yield is 200-224 centners per hectare, which is 30-50 centners higher than standard varieties. The maximum yield reached 318 centners per hectare. The output of commercial product reaches 89%, which confirms the economic efficiency of growing this hybrid. Due to its resistance to cracking and excellent taste qualities, FREILINA cabbage is popular among professional vegetable growers and is suitable for implementation in the fresh market.
