KURAJ is a variety of cauliflower characterized by an extended fruiting period, making it convenient for cultivation in home gardens. From germination to harvest takes 80 to 100 days. The leaf rosette ranges from medium to large sizes; leaves have a weakly folded, smooth surface with green coloring and a waxy bloom. The cauliflower head is round-flat, finely grained, and dense, with white coloring, slightly creamy hue. The average head weight ranges from 600 to 1000 grams, and taste qualities are recognized as excellent. Cauliflower KURAJ requires careful care, especially regarding nutrition and soil moisture, as it does not tolerate acidic soils. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in mid-March, and seedlings are transplanted 7-10 days after germination. Seedlings are transplanted to open ground 35-40 days after germination, usually in late April or May, following a planting scheme of 35x50 cm. Regular watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilizing are necessary during cultivation. To preserve the white color and density of heads, it is recommended to shade them by snapping or tying two leaves over the head. In southern regions, direct sowing of seeds into open ground is possible, which simplifies the cultivation process. Due to its characteristics, the KURAJ variety is suitable for obtaining a stable and quality harvest of cauliflower with excellent taste qualities and an attractive appearance.
