MAMA

Mama cabbage is a white cabbage hybrid of late maturity, reaching full maturity 135-140 days after germination. The plant forms an elevated and compact leaf rosette up to 60 cm in diameter, with grey-green color and medium-sized leaves covered with a medium waxy coating. The heads have a round-flat shape, a dense and juicy white internal structure, weighing from 2.5 to 3 kg. The stalk is of medium length, which facilitates processing and transportation.

The hybrid is distinguished by high yield – up to 6.8-6.9 kg per square meter with a commercial quality of about 91%. One of the key advantages of this variety is its resistance to temperature fluctuations and head cracking, ensuring good storability and long-term storage both in the field and after harvest. Thanks to these qualities, Mama cabbage is excellent for fresh consumption, as well as pickling and canning.

For successful cultivation of this variety, it is recommended to ensure plants with sufficient light and nutrients, regular watering, as well as timely weeding and removal of diseased leaves.
