Cabbage Marcello F1 is a medium-maturing hybrid with a vegetation period ranging from 80 to 145 days, depending on growing conditions. The plant is robust, with a semi-circular shape and light green leaf coloration, featuring medium blistering and waxy coating. Heads are round in shape, medium density, weighing from 2 to 5 kg, with good internal layering of thin leaves and a small inner core. Marcello F1 exhibits high resistance to cracking, fusarium, and vascular bacteriosis, ensuring a stable yield and prolonged field storage without quality loss. This hybrid is ideal for pickling due to its high glucose and fructose content, significantly exceeding that of other cabbage varieties. Marcello F1 also contains 10-14% more vitamin C, which reduces overall acidity by 25-60% during pickling while preserving its vitamin content. After pickling, the cabbage retains a pleasant sweet taste, golden color, and leaf elasticity, allowing its use whole, as individual leaves, or as parts of the head. Marcello F1 is characterized by high yield and good transportability, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including hot ones. Sowing can be performed from late March to late May, and harvesting takes place from late June to late September.
