MEGALIT

Megalit is a mid-late hybrid of white cabbage intended for cultivation in various regions with good yield and disease resistance. The leaf rosette is raised, leaves are medium to large in size, gray-green in color with a medium-intensity waxy coating, and blistered with even edges. The head is round, covered, with whitish flesh when cut, with a head mass ranging from 1.6 to 4.1 kg and a density of about 4.7 points. The taste of the cabbage is good and excellent, making it in demand among consumers. Commercial yield reaches 95%, and maximum yield can reach 1280 c/ha, which significantly exceeds the indicators of standard varieties.

Mid-late cabbage Megalit matures during 110-150 days from the moment of sowing seeds. Heads of this hybrid differ in large size and density, making them especially suitable for pickling and brining, as well as ensuring good transportability. Thanks to these qualities, Megalit is widely used in Central Russia and other regions with similar climatic conditions.

Moreover, the name Megalit also refers to a two-component post-emergence herbicide intended for fighting annual and perennial dicot weeds in rape crops. The herbicide contains active substances clopiralid and picloram, which penetrate into plants and suppress the biosynthesis of aromatic acids, ensuring effective weed control throughout the application period. However, in the context of this description, we are talking specifically about the cabbage hybrid Megalit.
