Cabbage hybrid type Katator F1 is a medium-maturing variety with a vegetation period of 80 to 85 days after transplanting. This hybrid was developed by the Dutch seed company Syngenta Seeds and is intended for spring and summer-autumn cultivation, including the possibility of a second sowing for winter storage. Heads have a round, flattened shape, dense white structure, and an average weight of 2 to 3 kg. They are characterized by high uniformity, attractive appearance, and excellent taste qualities, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, including pickling. One of the key features of the Katator F1 hybrid is its high resistance to various diseases and pests. The cabbage demonstrates increased resistance to Fusarium wilt, necrosis, as well as damage from thrips. Additionally, the hybrid tolerates stressful growing conditions, including high temperatures, and has the ability to suppress weeds in the field. Plants are characterized by strong growth and positively respond to seedling density, which contributes to high yield and product quality. The Katator F1 hybrid is distinguished by high storability and resistance to cracking, ensuring the preservation of the harvest both in the field and during short-term storage up to three months. The recommended planting density is 30-45 thousand plants per hectare, which optimizes head development and quality.
