Description
The Violetter variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and bolting, as well as good transportability, which makes it convenient for growing and storage. Cabbage is rich in vitamin C and sugar, which increases its nutritional value and contributes to strengthening the immune system. Due to its dense structure and high fiber content, it is suitable for home cooking, freezing, and further processing, providing fresh vegetables during the winter and spring periods.
For growing Violetter cabbage, it is recommended to use well-lit areas with fertile loam or sandy loam soil. Most often, seedling planting method is used: seeds are sown in March-April, piqued when the first pair of true leaves appears, and seedlings are transplanted into open ground from mid-May to early June.
