Vorozheya

The Vorozejia cabbage variety is a mid-season semi-headed Peking cabbage variety, distinguished by high yield and excellent taste qualities. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, leaves are light green, wide, flat, juicy, and of a delicate taste, with a highly blistered structure and medium pubescence. The head is wide-oval in shape, open, of medium density, weighing from 2 to 2.5 kg. The variety is characterized by high resistance to bolting, which ensures crop stability and uniformity of plants.

Vorozheia matures on average after 50-67 days from germination, which allows it to be used for cultivation both in open ground and under film coverings. Sowing is recommended in early spring to a depth of 0.5-1.5 cm, followed by thinning according to a 70x30 or 50x40 cm scheme in open ground, while cultivation under coverings is recommended at 20x15 cm. A seedling cultivation method is also possible. The variety yield reaches 8-10 kg per square meter, making it attractive for agrarians.

The Vorozejia variety is characterized by good preservation after harvest and is capable of withstanding low temperatures, while actively growing even in hot periods. Thanks to its tender and soft leaves, the cabbage is widely used both fresh and for preparing pickles, frying, and other culinary purposes. The rich vitamin-mineral composition makes this variety beneficial and in demand among consumers.
