BERLIKUM ROYAL

Berlikum Royal is a late-ripening, high-yield carrot variety characterized by a long growing period of 110 to 130 days. The root crops of this variety have a cylindrical shape with a blunt tip, a length of 20 to 23 cm, and a mass of 120 to 260 grams. The surface of the fruits is smooth, the peel and core are a rich orange color, and the flesh is juicy, crunchy, and very sweet, making the carrot an excellent choice for fresh consumption and processing.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, including fusarium and carrot fly, as well as resistance to bolting and cracking of root crops. Thanks to these qualities and the ability to store for a long time, Berlikum Royal carrot is suitable for winter storage and use throughout the year. The plant is easy to pull out during harvesting, which facilitates crop collection.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to plant carrots in loose, fertile loamy or sandy loam soil with a high content of humus on sunny plots. Sowing is carried out at the end of April – beginning of May, observing a scheme of 5-7x15 cm and a distance between rows of 15 cm. Carrots need uninterrupted moisture supply to ensure high quality and yield.
