Description
The carrots have a cylindrical shape, measuring 20-25 cm in length and about 5 cm in diameter, with smooth, even skin and a blunt tip. The average weight of a root is 200-250 grams. The color is vibrant orange, uniform both externally and internally, without green tinge or eyes. The flesh is dense, juicy, and sweet, with carotene content up to 13.7 mg per 100 g and sugar content around 7.5%. The foliage is dark green, sturdy, about 40 cm tall, and tightly attached to the root, requiring specialized machinery for harvesting. The carrot is resistant to diseases such as alternaria and cercospora, and also resistant to cracking, enabling mechanized harvesting without quality loss.
Jerada F1 is versatile in application: suitable for fresh market sales, processing, canning, and freezing. Due to its high nutritional value and excellent taste, it is widely used in culinary applications. For successful cultivation, sow in well-watered soil at a density of 0.8-1.0 million seeds per hectare, maintain regular watering, soil loosening, and root feeding. Harvested crops store well for several months, retaining their properties and market appearance.
