Description
The hybrid is characterized by high germination rate and uniform seedling emergence; seeds should be sown at a rate of 0.8-1.2 million per hectare. Bermuda F1 carrot adapts well to various climatic conditions and is primarily grown in open ground on sandy, well-heated soils. A key condition for successful cultivation is crop rotation, moisture control, and regular thinning. The hybrid is sensitive to overwatering but resistant to diseases such as cercospora, alternaria, and black spot.
The fruits of Bermuda F1 carrot maintain their market appearance and taste quality for a long time, making them popular for fresh consumption, processing, and preservation. The carrot is suitable for preparing fresh salads, smoothies, and other culinary dishes. Due to its resistance to deformation and greening, as well as suitability for mechanized harvesting, the hybrid is widely used in commercial vegetable farming and processing industries.
