Description
Carlano hybrid is intended for cultivation in open ground, especially on loose soils. It tolerates mechanized harvesting well, simplifying agronomic work. The carrot is resistant to cracking and bolting, contributing to high yields and excellent storability. Due to these qualities, the roots maintain freshness and market appearance during long-term storage and transport, making the hybrid popular for fresh consumption, processing, juice production, and canning.
Carlano has high nutritional value, containing a large amount of vitamins and beneficial substances, including apigenin, which positively affects heart function. The hybrid can germinate at temperatures as low as +3 degrees, with optimal conditions for fruit development ranging from +18 to +25 degrees. The recommended sowing rate is 1.1–1.2 million seeds per hectare, ensuring efficient use of sowing area and stable yields.
