KURODA POWER

Carrot variety Kuroda Power is a medium-late Japanese selection from the company Sakata, intended for cultivation in open ground. The vegetation period ranges from 100 to 120 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The plant is characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to various climatic conditions, including temperature fluctuations, drought, and excessive soil moisture. The foliage is upright, lush, dark green, up to 40 cm tall, resistant to diseases such as powdery mildew and alternaria, and not prone to bolting or fruit cracking.

The roots of the Kuroda Power variety have a conical shape with a blunt tip and broad shoulders, length ranging from 15 to 20 cm, and upper diameter reaching 4–8.5 cm. The carrot color is vibrant orange, with uniform internal structure, small juicy core without tough fibers or cracks. Average fruit weight varies from 150 to 250 grams. Due to excellent taste and uniformity, this carrot is suitable for fresh consumption as well as processing and preparation of hot dishes.

The variety is distinguished by high yield — up to 7–8 kg per square meter, as well as good transportability and long storage life. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds in prepared, warmed, and moist soil at a seeding rate of 0.6–0.8 million seeds per hectare. Subsequent care includes timely thinning, watering, weeding, and application of complex fertilizers under the root. Carrots Kuroda Power are suitable for both manual and mechanical harvesting, making them convenient for various cultivation technologies and commercial use.
