MUZIKO

Muziko is an early hybrid of mixed type carrot, belonging to the Berlikum/Nantes variety group, intended for cultivation in temporary polytunnels using and without agrofabric. The vegetative period is 80-85 days from germination, allowing for a harvest in a relatively short time. The roots have an elongated-conical shape with weak tapering and a blunt base, with an average weight ranging from 97 to 155 grams. The leaves are spreading, of medium or long size, green in color, and medium-cut, which ensures good plant development and ease of care.

Muziko roots are characterized by a smooth surface and an attractive bright orange color both on the outside and inside. Dry matter content reaches 12.6%, total sugar ranges from 7.4 to 8.0%, and carotene content can be up to 17.2 mg per 100 g of raw product, making the carrot not only tasty but also healthy. The yield of marketable product is within 79-94%, indicating high yield and fruit quality. Root lengths can reach up to 18 cm, which is convenient for fresh market distribution.

The Muziko hybrid has good resistance to early premature bolting, allowing for the avoidance of crop losses and maintaining root quality. Additionally, it is characterized by high resistance to Alternaria blight of the foliage, reducing the need for frequent application of protective agents and promoting eco-friendly cultivation. These characteristics make Muziko an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners focused on producing high-quality and healthy products.
