NANTINA

The Nantina carrot is an early-ripening, high-yield variety with cylindrical roots measuring 12 to 18 cm in length and up to 130 g in weight. The fruits have a blunt tip and a uniform intense orange color both on the outside and inside. The core of the carrot is small, making it especially tender and sweet, which is highly valued for baby food and juice preparation.

This variety is undemanding regarding growing conditions, tolerates short-term temperature drops and dry heat well. Nantina carrots are resistant to bolting, harmful bacteria, flowering, and rot, which ensures a stable and high yield. It is recommended to plant them in light loamy soils after predecessors such as potatoes, cucumbers, onions, and cabbage.
