NAVARA carrots represent a mid-season Nantes-type hybrid developed by the breeding company Bejo Zaden from the Netherlands. The vegetative period is approximately 115-120 days from sowing, allowing for harvest within optimal timeframes. The hybrid is distinguished by high yield, reaching 7-8 kg per square meter, and resistance to various unfavorable growing conditions, including drought and diseases such as cercosporosis, alternaria, and black leg. The carrots withstand dense planting up to 1.4 million seeds per hectare, demonstrating their plasticity to agricultural techniques.

NAVARA carrot fruits have a cylindrical shape, are smooth and uniform, with a bright orange color. The average weight of the root crops is between 150 and 200 grams. They are characterized by high carotene, sugar, and dry matter content, providing them with a sweet and rich taste. Due to their qualities, the carrots maintain their commercial appearance and taste characteristics during transportation and storage, making them in demand for the fresh market, as well as for culinary use and processing.

The plant has a powerful foliar apparatus of a rich green color, indicating its good vegetative activity. NAVARA carrots are suitable for harvesting using combine harvesters of the threshing type, which facilitates mechanized crop collection. They are ideal for washing, packaging, and long-term storage, expanding their commercial use possibilities. The recommended sowing rate is from 1.0 to 1.4 million seeds per hectare, which ensures optimal planting density and maximum productivity.
