Nebida

Nebida F1 carrot from Bejo is a high-yielding, Nantes-type hybrid with a vegetation period of about 110 days, making it a medium-maturing variety. The roots are cylindrical with a blunt tip, smooth surface, and vibrant orange color. Their length is 18–20 cm, and weight ranges from 200 to 300 grams. The plant’s leafy rosette is strong, upright, and of medium height, promoting good growth and crop resilience.

The hybrid has a high dry matter content — about 12.5% — indicating the density and nutritional value of the carrots. This quality is especially important for processing, including juice production and slicing. Nebida F1 carrots are suitable for both fresh consumption and long-term storage, demonstrating excellent storability and resistance to mechanical harvesting. The roots retain high commercial quality after washing and polishing, making them attractive for commercial use and packaging.

The variety shows resistance to common fungal diseases such as anthracnose and powdery mildew, and it has immunity to certain disease races (IR: Сс).
