For successful cultivation, early sowing is recommended — at the end of April or beginning of May, as well as winter sowing is possible. The seeds are coated with a special dragee that facilitates sowing and quickly dissolves upon exposure to moisture. Sowing is done at a depth of 2-3 cm with a row spacing of 18-20 cm. For ensuring good growth and abundant fruiting, timely watering, regular weeding, loosening, and feeding with mineral fertilizers are necessary.
