Description
Chrysanthemum ALTYN SOLOK is a new variety of Korean chrysanthemum bred at the Botanical Garden-Institute of UNC RAS. This variety is distinguished by its high decorative quality and early, abundant flowering, making it attractive to gardeners and flower lovers. The bushes have a closed form, reach a height of about 57 cm, and have moderate foliage. The plant's peduncles are sturdy, ensuring the inflorescences are resistant to damage.
The chrysanthemum leaves are green, of medium size, with a slightly dissected shape and rounded lobes. The leaf base is rounded, while the tip ends in a point, giving the plant a neat and aesthetic appearance. The inflorescences are semi-double, lemon-yellow in color, about 5 cm in diameter, with a characteristic specific aroma. The central part of the flower, the disk, has an orange-yellow coloration and is about 1 cm in diameter.
The flowering of the ALTYN SOLOK variety begins in the first half of July and continues until mid-October, providing a long period of decorative effect—about 97 days. From 10 to 15 inflorescences form on one peduncle, and a plant can have from 105 to 200 flowers. Additionally, the variety is resistant to diseases and pests, which eases care and increases its attractiveness for cultivation in various conditions.
