Chrysanthemum variety 'Crystal' is a perennial plant from the Asteraceae family, distinguished by its high decorative value and resistance to low temperatures. The plants of this variety are densely branched, with well-developed stems reaching heights of 40 to 70 centimeters. The leaves are lobed, resembling oak leaves in shape, colored green or dark green, densely filling the space between branches. It is resistant to frost down to -7°C and can overwinter in the ground with covering, although in our latitudes it is often grown as an annual. For pot cultivation, it is recommended to place the plant in a bright, cool room with infrequent watering. When grown in beds, it is important to select sunny locations, provide moderate watering, and promptly remove faded flowers and weeds. Due to its frost resistance and low maintenance requirements, Chrysanthemum 'Crystal' easily adapts after transplanting and quickly spreads, forming lush bushes with many flowers. A distinctive feature of this variety is its high decorative value and versatility. Chrysanthemum 'Crystal' is ideal for cutting and bouquet making, as cut flowers retain freshness for up to 30 days. Its full blooms resemble dahlias and emit a characteristic bitter-minty fragrance associated with autumn, creating a special atmosphere.
