Description
The Korean chrysanthemum variety 'Karaidel' is a compact plant with dense foliage and moderate growth. Its leaves are dark green, while the flower heads are dense, about 7 cm in diameter, white in color with a light aroma. Blooming begins in mid-July and continues until the end of August, making this variety attractive for autumn landscape compositions and use in cut flowers.
The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, demonstrating resistance of 85-100% in most years, except for extreme winters. However, the plant is less resistant to snow melting, so it is recommended to plant it in areas with less snow accumulation. Thanks to its decorative qualities and early or medium blooming period, 'Karaidel' is excellent for small gardens.
This variety was bred at the Botanical Garden-Institute of the Ufa Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and included in the register since 2011. It combines an attractive appearance, resistance to low temperatures, and a long blooming period, making it a valuable choice for gardeners aiming to create bright and durable autumn compositions.
