Description
Lenvera Chrysanthemum is a variety of Korean chrysanthemum intended for growing in the central region of Russia. The plant forms a semi-spreading bush about 57.5 cm tall and 49 cm in diameter with dark green, non-tomentose leaves of medium foliage density. Lenvera has strong flower stalks, which ensures the stability of inflorescences against damage. The inflorescences are semi-double, about 6.5 cm in diameter, and colored purple with a pinkish-yellowish tint; the color does not fade in the sun. The chrysanthemum has a strong aroma and a long flowering period of about 81 days, starting from August 1st.
This variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as to adverse weather conditions. Lenvera is heat-tolerant, has average frost hardiness and drought resistance, which makes it suitable for garden growing in the conditions of the central region of Russia. For successful growth, it is recommended to ensure the plant with sufficient lighting and regular watering, as well as a neutral soil reaction.
Lenvera chrysanthemum belongs to perennial plants that bloom at the end of summer and delight with their flowering until the first frost. Thanks to its decorativeness and hardiness, this variety is widely used in landscape design and gardening. Lenvera is reproduced by seeds, cuttings, or by dividing the bush, which allows easy maintenance and increasing of plantings.
