Operation and fuel economy

The core strength of the Arion is its versatility. In the field, it pulls heavy disc harrows without strain, and during transport tasks, the fuel consumption remains impressively reasonable. The FPT (Iveco) engines are tuned for efficiency: high torque is available at low RPMs, which is crucial for saving fuel when working with the PTO. Regarding maintenance, access to daily check points is exceptionally well-engineered. The radiators swing out easily, and the filters aren't buried deep in the engine bay, saving mechanics from frustration during routine oil changes.

Reliability and support

Over years of use, the Arion has proven to be a predictable workhorse. Naturally, the electronics require careful handling and high-quality diesel, but if you stay on top of firmware updates and service intervals, the tractor delivers consistent performance. While Claas parts aren't the cheapest, their availability through local dealers during peak season is a crucial form of insurance that justifies the investment. The powershift transmission operates smoothly without harsh jerking, preserving the longevity of the drivetrain during frequent headland turns.
