The APS System: Engineering Excellence

The core of the Claas Mega is the APS (Accelerated Pre-Separation) threshing system. By placing an accelerator drum ahead of the main threshing cylinder, the system accelerates the crop flow and evenly distributes it across the full width of the cylinder. This design reduces the load on the threshing concave, minimizes grain damage, and boosts throughput by up to 20%. It is particularly effective in high-yield conditions where maintaining constant crop flow is critical.

Separation and Cleaning Dynamics

The straw walkers are designed with high-step profiles, ensuring thorough shaking and separation of the residual grain from the straw mat.
