For models in the 400 and 500 series, Claas employs the ROTO PLUS axial separation technology. Instead of traditional straw walkers, these machines use high-speed rotors that utilize centrifugal force to extract the remaining grain from the straw. This design provides exceptional throughput and is particularly effective when harvesting in short windows or dealing with heavy crop yields, while maintaining straw quality for baling.

Cleaning and Slope Management

The cleaning system in the Tucano is designed for maximum efficiency. The high-capacity turbine fan delivers a consistent blast of air, which can be adjusted directly from the cab. For operations on uneven terrain, the 3D-cleaning system is an essential technical advantage; it actively compensates for cross-slopes, preventing grain loss by ensuring the grain mat stays evenly distributed across the sieves.

Operational Intelligence

Claas has integrated the CEBIS terminal to provide a clear interface for monitoring machine health and performance. Features like CEMOS AUTO CROP FLOW constantly monitor speed and load sensors. If the machine detects a potential block or over-capacity issue, the system alerts the operator or automatically adjusts the throughput, ensuring that mechanical wear is minimized while maximizing efficiency across various crop types.
