CALIBER

Cucumber variety Caliber is an early parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type with predominantly female flowering. This variety is characterized by its early maturity, weak branching, and very short internodes, which contribute to compact plant growth. The leaves are small, making it convenient for cultivation in limited spaces such as balconies, verandas, loggias, as well as in open ground and greenhouses during the spring-summer period.

The fruits of cucumber Caliber have a spindle shape, covered with bumps and white spines, measuring 5 to 8 cm in length and 60 to 80 grams in weight. The zucchini have distinct short light longitudinal stripes and a diameter of 2.5-3.5 cm. The plant forms 2 to 10 fruits at each node, ensuring high yield. Due to its excellent taste qualities, cucumbers of this variety are ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and canning.
