Crunchy Happiness — an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is predominantly female-flowering, forming single or clustered fruits (2-4 per cluster), which contributes to high yields. The period from germination to first fruiting is approximately 38-42 days, allowing for an early and stable harvest.
Fruits of this hybrid have a cylindrical shape, large-buckled, dark green, 7-12 cm long, and weighing 65-110 g depending on growing conditions. The cucumbers feature dense flesh, crisp texture, absence of voids and bitterness, and a distinct aroma. Due to these qualities, the cucumbers are versatile: they are excellent for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as pickling, canning, and marinating.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including false powdery mildew and cucumber mosaic virus. Additionally, it tolerates temperature fluctuations and adverse weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones.
